Payment FAQ
Below are the most common payment issues and tips on resolving them.
Declined Credit Card Transactions
- Your member profile address does not match that of the billing address for the credit card. Check that your ICRS address matches your credit card's billing address.
- Your university or organization credit card requires pre-approval or has a specific list of approved business types for purchases. Check with your organization.
Total Amount is Incorrect
- Make sure there are no spaces in blank fields which can change the amount owed.
- The Member Type and Membership Options drop down fields on the membership form must match. If they do not, your membership fee and/or expiration date will be incorrect.
Value-added tax (VAT) Identification Number
- ICRS is incorporated in the United States and therefore does not collect VAT.
